International Direct Dialling Codes
This is the number you'll need to make a call from the country listed, to another country. This is followed by the country code for the country you are calling. Some countries have several of these, with each one used by a different long-distance carrier.
Country Codes
The Country Code is the number you dial before you dial the recipients' number, when dialling a particular country from another country. You will usually also need to dial a city or area code.
National Direct Dialling Codes
This is the number used to make an internal call within a chosen country, from one city to another. This number is followed by the city/area code for the place you are calling. For example if you are calling from Nantes, France to Paris France, you should only dial the target number and the local area code.
Mobile/Cellphone Direct Dialling Codes
The growth of so-called "mobile telecommunications" and wireless networks, has witnessed an explosion in roaming telecommunications. Because this area is growing at such a rapid rate, we have included many direct dial codes as best we can and recommend external links which may assist further.
